Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and dedication to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) providers through an engagement together with the company's senior professionals at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing eighty one% from the registered pupils in the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
